HIFF 2020 Submissions Now Open for New Film Entries
The first ever Horsetooth International Film Festival was so much fun and a fantastic way for filmmakers, artists, and musicians to share creative work and expertise. Making this festival possible in Northern Colorado was a passion for everyone on the HIFF team, including our sponsors, and we are excited to host HIFF again in September 2020!
As of November 1st, we have opened the door to new film submissions along with some new categories for #HIFF2020:

"International" Short Film
"One World" Inspirational Feature Documentary
"Another Dimension" VR, AR, and Full-Dome Short Film
"I Want My MTV Back" Music Video
"Next Generation" National High School Short Film
"Wanderlust" Adventure Short Film
"Frame by Frame" Animated Short Film
"Results May Vary" Experimental Short Film
"Dreamweavers" Narrative Feature Film
Festival Weekend for #HIFFCO2020 will run from September 10th - 13th and our creative team is currently working on details in securing next year’s venues in Northern Colorado.
So start sending in your submissions filmmakers!
What you need to know to submit a film:
Filmmakers can submit films directly to our Film Freeway page under a specific category. Category descriptions, deadlines, and entry fees are listed within each category.
Creators are eligible and encouraged to submit films to multiple categories, meaning, as many categories as seem relevant based on the official HIFF category list.
